In theory, there is no difference between Theory and Practice.

In practice, this is not true:
Seeing babies often leads to the desire to not kill them.
Now everybody already has (mostly) made up their minds on the subject of abortion. Certainly many people and I don't see eye to eye on this subject. But it's quite interesting to see the lengths that the Mastodon Main Stream Media and pro-choice politicians will go to in order to throttle the free availability of information.

Like trying to prevent free ultrasounds to pregnant women considering abortion.

How about treating it like Gun Control, another favorite of the left? Maybe a 2 week "cooling off" period? Maybe you have to get a license? After all, wouldn't the State have an interest in knowing who has amassed an arsenal high number of aborted pregnancies?

My point isn't to rant here. Rather, it's to highlight the blatant hypocrisy of the left and their tools in the MSM (redundancy alert) who puff themselves up on protecting free speech, when they're absolutely opposed to speech that doesn't agree with their own.

And TJICistan is a very interesting read, from an armed Boston area anarcho-capitalist. If he comes to the next New England blogshoot, he'd probably fit right in. Got to love this:
TJICistan seceeded from Arlington, Massachusetts, and the United States on 26 December, 1995.
Heh.

Thanks for the link-love !

What's the NE Blogshoot (I mean, I can pretty well guess WHAT it is from the name, but what're the details) ?

TJIC, there are a bunch of gunbloggers in the area (check out the "Bloggers I've Met" are on my blogroll). A blogshoot is where we get together to, well, shoot.

We did one last summer, and one in late winter. We're just starting to plan for one this summer.

As I said, you'd probably fit right in.

Email me at borepatch at gmail dot com if you'd like to know when we'll do it. Or if you'd just like to go shooting sometime.
