"Adopting a pseudonym is not necessarily a cowardly or sinister act."

Here at Borepatch, we prefer our sinister acts to be full strength. I'd say more, but I'm too scared.

Glad that The Corner is all over this pseudonymous blogging thing, though. Every now and then I wonder "How come I haven't been by The Corner for a while?" Usually a short visit refreshes my memory.

I blog pseudo anonymously. I don't use my full name, but I am using my true identity if that makes sense.

I do this for a couple of reasons. First if someone wants to find me, they will but I'm not going to make it easy for them.
Second, I'm protective of my family, neighbors and friends. What I say shouldn't impact their lives because some wants to mess with them.
Third, I've been using this identity for a while. It is my online identity. There are quite a few Bobs out there....but so far I've been the only Bob S.

Great posts both of you
