You'll never guess where I'm blogging from ...

All those flights (maybe a million and a half miles in 30 years of flying) and I never once used the AirPhone. First flight with WiFi?

Hello, blogosphere!

The problem, of course, is that with the entire Clan Borepatch on board, it's either pay $12.95 times 4, or pass the laptop around like a bunch of old winos with a brown bag. Since I'm a cheap bastid, I guess I'll have to share.

The flyer for the WiFi service in the seat back pocket cracks me up. It (gently) reminds patrons:
Be courteous to your neighbors. Please stick to emails and respectful Internet browsing.
In other words, don't hog all the bandwidth with Skype video conferencing, no Pr0n 4u, and absolutely no Skype video Pr0n conferencing. Good grief - pr0n surfing on a flying bus with 150 people cheek by jowl?

But in the spirit of their request, please keep your comments respectful. And pr0n-free.

Maybe for the return flight, a battery-powered router? Build yourself your own little subnet?

Have fun in Albuquerque. A favorite restaurant out there is Sadie's on 4th St.
