I just finished the audiobook version of The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt during a long-ish road trip. I hadn't realized (or maybe hadn't remembered) that this took place on Valentine's Day. I highly recommend the book, by the way.

In spite of differences of opinion with him in some areas, I consider TR a Giant and one of my favorite people ever to hold the office of President.
