Thanks for this - I hadn't heard him since college, a side story on a term paper on the roots of blues and rock'n'roll.I'd nearly forgotten how good he was. You probably already know, but he was called "Lightnin'" because he was struck by lightning as a young man.
Hopkins is the man I most associate with this song, even though he didn't write it. It's nice to hear it played at such a slow tempo here.
