It's 1993. You're the manager of a former Soviet factory. You know that the future is Capitalism, not Communism. You know that you need to export to survive. You put your Top Marketing Team on the problem.
You don't know that all they know about Western TV is what they saw watching MTV.
Dancing (former) Soviet soldiers chanting I want you and Position number 2 are perhaps not the most reassuring marketing campaign. Even if one of the soldiers takes a drag on his cigarette and says Relax.
There's quite a lot to be learned about the Cold War from this advert.

That is one perplexing commercial. I wouldn't have figured out they were advertising a car without your setup.
