Samson's strength, of course was in his hair. Pretty clearly, there's not much of a resemblance here.
But that leaves the question, where is the source of our strength? It's different for everyone, but if you cut it off, it's bad news.
For me, it's my family. It's quite strange being nearly a thousand miles away. In a sense, it's a haircut of a most uncomfortable kind. They say that knowledge is power, but I could have gone the rest of my life without learning this. Really.
