The toughest truck in the world?

Spent too much of the afternoon watching Top Gear.  Best automotive television show ever, and it's from Europe.  Rednecks are everywhere.

Good thing they didn't try that testing here in the States. If he'd taken a chunk out of a 200 year old stone building here, he'd have been arrested for defacing a historical site.

Love that show. Although JC's idea of a good car is one that can burn off $1600 worth of tires in a short afternoon.

These guys are not rednecks they are your classic English eccentrics, Americans could never dream up such madness. You lack the imagination for creative insanity and destruction. On a TV show the closest you come is Mythbusters.

"You lack the imagination for creative insanity and destruction"

Our military industry would beg to differ.

You obviously don't know the same Americans that I know.

To you all that took my bait, all of the best minds that dreamed up insanity and destruction were immigrants. Namely the A bomb project. However when it comes to creative insanity you can not beat UK TV, every US storyline has to have a Walt Disney ending, not in the UK hence why trying to destroy a Toyota is a good idea.
In WW2 we had Barnes Wallis of dam busters fame and Orde Windgate of the Chindits total lunatics but typically British and also Alan Turing that gave the world it's first true electromechanical computer, we had developed radar and the jet engine where were you?
Hell we invented TV.
