Grandstanding....the speech is not intended to change anything, merely make the speaker look good prior to election day. Look at this schmucks voting record before deciding he's all that and a bag of chips.
Kelly has voted against amendments that would have: Terminated Economic Development Administration. Defunded a corporate welfare program (requested by Obama). Terminated Essential Air Service subsidies. Shut down DOE's Loan Guarantee program, which spawned Solyndra and others.
And more. I don't think he has a problem with red tape or big business.
The man is playing the game and hoping that his constituents are as uninformed as always.
