Store window, Munich, December 1996. Taken with Pentax K1000.

It's not like I was in love with that camera, but it was ultra reliable, and would take the pictures if you knew how to work it. I took it everywhere, and it always delivered. Sure wish I could get a digital body for it.

I have 3 K1000 bodies and several lens' for them. My wife just gave me a Nikon D50. It's hard to find processing and the film stock is getting thin, but I truely understand the difficulty you're having putting them on the shelf. I know I can't.

Love the old cameras. I need to get some 120 film for my old Yashica TLR.

That K-1000 was a damn good camera. My favorite of an earlier era was the Olympus OM-1.
