I'm glad we're not traveling this Holiday season

Oh good grief:
I'd call them "morons", but that wouldn't be charitable. To actual morons.

That's about as retarded as leaving both borders open, and expecting TSA to be taken seriously. It's just a big waste of money and needs to stop. If I were a terrorist, I'd just wade across the Rio Grande and I'm in!

Epididymus, you could say the same thing about airplanes and bombs. Laptop computer batteries are OK, tiny amounts of liquids not so much.

Sigh.

Ridiculous.

It's the quantity.
Six to eight ounces of a flammable liquid replacing the water could sure cause a problem.
Yes, it does seem silly however.

A friend of mine ran into this problem traveling home on Thanksgiving. She had a couple of balls filled with some sort of jell that lights up when you bounce them. Seems that's a security threat, so the TSA drones confiscated them. My friend told the TSA drone that she hoped her kids enjoyed them as much as she was sure that her own grandkids would have if the TSA hadn't stolen them.

Yeah, they let her fly, but they made sour faces.
