Deal alert

A coworker just turned me on to Monoprice.com.  They have what look like really good deals:
  • 10' HDMI cable for $4
  • 7' Cat-5 Ethernet cable for $1
  • Wireless 802.1N router for $18
  • HDMI splitter for $23

He says he's had good experience with them.  I've never tried them out, but think I probably will.

I'll second the recommendation.

I've never had a bad transaction with MonoPrice. They're my first stop whenever I need something they might stock.

I've bought a lot of cables from Monoprice. Never had a problem.

Cool! Thanks for the tip. Seems to beat BlueJean Cable.

I bought a tilt and swivel mount for a large flat screen TV from them. It cost less than half what I could get it for elsewhere, and it was good quality.

I like them.

That's where we've gotten our spare phone batteries, a lot of cords, and most recently the surround sound speakers Mike installed in our living room ceiling. Thumbs up on all of them!

The real capper: I ordered a bunch of cables, adapters, etc. from them for a friend to set her up with home theater, internet hulu via laptop, etc. Two months later, she got around to trying to set it up. One component didn't work. I emailed them on her behalf. One RMA and a week later, the new one came, it worked, and... done.

I love Monoprice. I've ordered thousands of feet of cable from them and I haven't had any problems so far.
