Security patches! Getcher red hot security patches!

There are a bunch, and you'll want these.

This month's Microsoft Patch Tuesday gave a bumper crop of patchy goodness - something like nine high risk bugs got squashed.  Take Internet Explorer (sorry Firefox users, this needs ActiveX) to Windows Update.  While you're there, check out Security Essentials and the Safety Scanner.  Microsoft is doing a pretty good job with security lately, and these free tools are good examples of that.

Adobe is not doing so well with security - or if they are, they're digging themselves out of a big pit of security Fail.  Another month, another Flash bug allowing a Bad Guy to execute arbitrary code on your computer.  Sigh.  Patches for Windows and Mac here.  Linux users will have to wait until November.  Fail.

I'm kinda surprised at the number of Adobe up-the-f*dates I'm gettin' for Acrobat and Flash - WTF, shut 'er down man!

I removed Flash from my Lion Mac. It was virtually unusable and I don't miss it.

Flash's days are numbered.

updated flash just recently, the upgrade appears to be a downgrade, I'm getting the little puzzle piece frowny face as it crashes frequently as of late.
