Cool old car

Seen three years ago at the Owl's Head, Maine car show.  Didn't get the make/model, blast it all.

Looks like an early 50's MG TF Midget. Around 52 or 53 IIRC.

The TF had its headlights faired into the fenders and the radiator slanted back a few degrees. TCs had big spindly wire wheels. It is a TD alright.

TD, looks like a period correct Shorrock supercharger... I have a 50 in here right now, Judson blower, 5 speed conversion, MGA ring and pinion in the original diff case... It is so much quicker/faster than a stock TD, we had to fit some MGA front disc brakes.(Bolt on, so nothing permanently altered) Guy drives the wheels off of it.

MG TD - have one in pieces sitting in the barn,a giant jigsaw puzzle for my retirement enjoyment :)
