I'm not sure who is the bigger idiot

Celebrities who posted naughty pix to a cloud server on the 'net, or the "hacker" who posted the pix with a screenshot showing his name:

All I can say is that I've been posting on this for six years now.  What's different now is that many services (like Apple's iCloud) automatically save everything to the 'net.  All y'all might want to check to make sure this is turned off if you're fixin' to do some modelling in the all together ...

Outed private photos are old news. I think people who put their pictures someplace where they can be stolen and made public WANT them to be discovered for the publicity.

One of the Gormogons suggested we turn this 'hacker' on our politicians. To which I could only think there is not enough bleach for nekkid Pelosi and Biden

More news: turns out that iCloud wasn't hacked - at least, not in the traditional sense (insider attack, stolen password file, etc.)

The hackers just kept trying different passwords until they logged in. Legitimately. As if they were the account owners.

Y'know, "12345", "abcde", and "password" are not good password choices. And, if you're a public personality, the names of your parents, pets, or your birthday don't work well either.

Duh.
