Don't mess with Texas drafthouses

The Alamo Draft House in Austin tells people to please not text during the films (it's a cinema drafthouse).  Some people don't like this.  The Alamo Drafthouse likes that.

Awesome.

I love it! If I'm ever in Austin I'll have to make a point to visit this theater.

My kind of place. If I ever find myself in Austin I'm going to catch a show there.

Three things:

1. She probably would notice that ALL theaters prohibit texting if she'd look up from her phone before the movie to see the announcement.

2. She's clearly a person who focuses on polite behavior.

3. The customer is not always right. Fortunately, it's easy to tell when, so we don't need to debate whether this is one of those times.

Thanks, Alamo The-A-ter: I'm so dumb I've let you become a superb viral marketing effort at my expense!

Absolute thing of beauty! I've long avoided visiting the Alamo Drafthouse in San Antonio, with it being so far from where I live. Now, it's much closer. I'll have to pay them a visit next time I want to see a movie.
