You can lead a girl to Vassar

But you can't make her think.

That joke was old when I was young, but (tragically) seems to be evergreen.

and that is the problem with the so-called "private property" argument, where proponents state that a property owner has plenipotentiary power over everyone on the property. After this farce of a "trial" this young man will never attend college again, because of the black mark on his record.

"I was drunk, so I couldn't consent! It was sexual assault!"

"Uhhh, sweetheart, you might want to give that some thought before you o too far down that rabbit hole, because HE was drunk, too!"

"It was rape when he did it to me, but not when I did it to him, because PATRIARCHY!"

It is a sad state of affairs when young women, who learn that they can ruin a man with one silly accusation, decide to make a sport out of it. It's just awful.

We've all had encounters that we regret in one way or another. It's part of growing up. It is NOT rape. If you were into it at the time, and then regretted it in the morning, what we call that is a bad choice. Not sexual assault.

Sorry, sweetheart, you don't get to ruin a man because you chose to do something that you regret.

Oh, wait... YOU DO???

How effed up is this country?
