Re: Connick - I knew his Dad, he was the D.A. in New Orleans. I met Harry when he was about 12. Nice family.

Paul Anka -- who wrote the lyrics for "My Way" and composed several songs made famous by Frank Sinatra, was having a discussion with someone who said that they don't write songs like that anymore. Anka tried unsuccessfully to convince this person that modern rock songs are just as good, but was unsuccessful. So he arranged a dozen of them in the style of arrangement that would accompany Sinatra, and recorded an album:
