Hill Country Blues comes from the hills of northern Mississippi, not from the Hill Country of Texas. Junior Kimbrough was legendary there (even though he actually recorded several albums - not sure when this video was recorded but it was likely in the 1980s). With its driving beat and electric guitar, it is what I think is one of the most listenable blues styles for people who don't like blues but do like rock.
