Why do Democrats hate women?

Wow.  Just, wow.

Objectively, they're sexist.

Can every Progressive who ever said that Rethuglicans hate women please shut up and sit down in the back of the room?  Grown ups are talking.

And to all Progressives who ever said the words Let's pass it now; we'll fix it later: OK, it's later.  Come on - dazzle me.

Wow.  Just, wow.

UPDATE 4 October 2011 23:09: Holy cow, this really isn't the Internet spreading unfounded rumors:
A federal rule kicked in Saturday that will prevent many applicants from qualifying for new credit card accounts.

The Federal Reserve's rule told credit card companies that they no longer can consider household income when assessing the creditworthiness of an individual who applies for his or her own card. Under the rule, only an individual's own salary or other income -- rather than combined household income -- can be considered.

One major effect of the new regulation: Stay-at-home moms (or dads) without significant outside income no longer will be able to open their own credit card accounts -- and establish their own credit histories to build their credit scores.
And here's the really damning quote on this legislative abortion [same link]:
"I've worked with Brad, he's come up with some pretty good ideas and I like the concept very much," Durbin said.
I like the concept very much. Wow.

Well, this explains the Democratic Party's 2008 primary.  Hey Hillary, go make me a sammich!  Now, biatch!

Wow.

UPDATE 5 October 00:18: A serenade for the National Organization for Women (Senator Ted Kennedy and President Bill Clinton could not be reached for comment):

What do you get for pretending the danger's not real.
Meek and obedient you follow the leader
Down well trodden corridors into the valley of steel.
What a surprise!
A look of terminal shock in your eyes.

For lo, He hath great power, and great hunger ....

Sheep (songwiters: Pink Floyd)
Harmlessly passing your time in the grassland away;
Only dimly aware of a certain unease in the air.
You better watch out,
There may be dogs about
I've looked over Jordan, and I have seen
Things are not what they seem.

What do you get for pretending the danger's not real.
Meek and obedient you follow the leader
Down well trodden corridors into the valley of steel.
What a surprise!
A look of terminal shock in your eyes.
Now things are really what they seem.
No, this is no bad dream.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
He makes me down to lie
Through pastures green He leadeth me the silent waters by.
With bright knives He releaseth my soul.
He maketh me to hang on hooks in high places.
He converteth me to lamb cutlets,
For lo, He hath great power, and great hunger.
When cometh the day we lowly ones,
Through quiet reflection, and great dedication
Master the art of karate,
Lo, we shall rise up,
And then we'll make the bugger's eyes water.

Bleating and babbling I fell on his neck with a scream.
Wave upon wave of demented avengers
March cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream.

Have you heard the news?
The dogs are dead!
You better stay home
And do as you're told.
Get out of the road if you want to grow old.
You better stay home, and do as you're told.  Get out of the road, if you want to grow old.  After all, this Administration's motto is Bros before Hoes.

So now, NOW, go fix the Democratic Party a sammitch ...

Lo, we shall rise up,
And then we'll make the bugger's eyes water.

National Organization for Women, wake up.  It's not just about abortion, and the Democrats despise you.  Just sayin'.

One offspring of the clan (who will remain anonymous :-) volunteered at a political convention in Colorado some years back to earn credits in a high school course. It was Democratic. She came back and said "B, it was weird, a bunch of men who looked like women and a bunch of women who looked like men.

I hate to say, that I was part of the Democratic Party Machine, in the mid-1970s.

We would have laughed at you if you had told us that 30 year later this is what the Party would do.

Laughed.

I am beyond angry at this. I work outside the home now, but geez. This is a sure way to keep women trapped in a possible bad situation if they happen to stay at home.

I know what it's like to not have established credit trying to make my way in the world.... it's not easy.

Borepatch said...

Belle, this is nothing but an attack on women's rights.

I'm just flabbergasted. This means that the Democrats have NOBODY on staff who would ask "Hey, what about stay-at-home Moms?"

They're invisible to This Crowd.

So, just for a little context, NOW!, would be "the National Organization "for" Women".
Speak up ladies.

As you state in your own update, this is actually a Federal Reserve rule; how is that the Democrat Party's fault? Fed Board members serve fixed terms - a new president doesn't just dump them all and put his own people in. Fed Chair Bernanke began his term in 2006 - under Bush.
And check out the vote for the Credit Card Act of 2009 to which this pertains (Google is your friend):
House: 357 - 70,
Senate: 90 - 5!!
That's a big REPUBLICAN majority in favor, in both houses, especially in the Senate, voting IN AGREEMENT with the Democratic majorities.
Sorry this doesn't fit your narrative...

Borepatch said...

Sorry, Scott, I couldn't hear that over the noise of outrage from "Progressives" everywhere.

/sarcasm

Southern Belle said...

Scott,

It's not the Democrat Party's fault that the Fed passed the rule, BUT their silence on the issue says it all which is what the point of his update was.

and not to belabor the point, but the Evil party still has a majority in the Senate. The Stupid party does control the house. It is a bipartisan screwing of stay at home moms or dads.

BTW, Borepatch - the indented text in the section "Update 4 October 2011 23:09"
"A federal rule kicked in Saturday that will prevent many applicants from qualifying for new credit card accounts."
is not a link I can get to. It appears as link to your blogger account. If it was supposed to be a link to a web article somewhere, I sure can't access it.
