Tho’ much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Al Gore, where are you when we need you?
Damn, it feels like January.
To New Englanders this looks like May, but Camp Borepatch is in Georgia. I was told that there would be warming.
It was 19 degrees here in Chatham, NC last night. 19. Pipes were frozen when I woke up this morning. It's never been this cold in November that I remember. AGW indeed.

This is playing havoc with my desire to move down south. Southern Alabama and Tennessee are unseasonably cold this year.
If not for the better guns laws, I might as well stay up here.
Come on down anyway. We need more guns and gun owners in the south. The north can hang (or freeze) itself.
I like the cold snap, if for no other reason than it kills mosquitoes and gnats.
