Mitnick, of course, was the 1990s most famous computer hacker, considered so dangerous that in prison he wasn't allowed to use any computer, or even a telephone*. Me, I think he had an excessive reputation, but there's no doubt that he's a smart security dude.

His shtick was mainly social engineering, wasn't it? Still, there's some potential value in delving into that.
