"And for those of you who like to carry a pistol, it has a handy pocket for it."Which led me to quip:
"Even a full-sized 1911?"And that led to a 5 minute discussion on carry pieces among almost the entire class. Including the women. Got to love the biker community.

I ride with fellow combat vets and most I know carry.
Yep the jacket will fit most guns. My dad has carried his there when going to rallies.
Sounds like our kind of people. Cool!
Nice choice of sidearm there. My personal favorite as well since I qualified with it in the Navy.
It'd be interesting to see how much overlap there is between the NRA and the American Motorcyclist Association's memberships. (And the American Radio Relay League. A surprising number of hams are into self-sufficiency.)
Any three letter agency folks out there care to leak that information? We know you have it.
Sorry Dave, can you say again? You're breaking u{`+#$%{`&+#{@$`%+NO CARRIER
If you can afford a Harley - get it!
Even a Sportster. If you are lucky you can find a used one. In our younger days, we had a total of 4 Harley's and it's true, the greatest bunch of people you will ever find are bikers.
(Maybe some day I'll post pics - we even rode with Malcom Forbes)
I have lots of friends who ride and carry. The big discussion is always how/where to carry while you ride so you don't get injured or damage your gun in an accident.
"You should only carry in a shoulder rig" - "You should only carry in a 'breakaway' holster" - "You should only carry in your saddlebags"
It's like listening to the guys saying "Don't carry in the small of your back. You'll fall on it and break your spine." or "Don't carry in a Serpa, you'll pull a Tex Grebner."
OBTW. Your gun sucks, and you're holding it wrong.
