Tolerance, good temper and sympathy — they are what matter really, and if the human race is not to collapse they must come to the front before long.

So...don't keep us hanging! What bargains did you find? I was out buying tools today as well. Bought a No2 Stanley plane, about a number 4 unmarked plane, and three rattail files, all for $10. The big find of the day was a one man crosscut saw with the teeth in really good shape for $13.00. I have to replace the handle ($20) and it's ready for use in the woodlot.
Ritchie, I don't think so. Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.Viking, I finally got a Leatherman. Can't believe that I went this long without one.
Ha! I know the feeling about the Leatherman. My daughter got me a Leatherman Juice S2 for Christmas. I thanked her for it, thinking it would be another one of those things I would never use. Wrong! I use that darn thing pretty much every day and usually several times a day. I don't know what I ever did without it! The tool it has are perfect for me.
