Some friends of my parents, visiting from Norway a few years back, casually mentioned Trondheim was have it's "anniversary" - for being 1,000 years old. Sheesh, youngsters.
I spent a few weeks in Denmark. While I was there I had lunch in a 500 year old restaurant. Were you the one who said, in the US 100 years in old, and in Europe 100 miles is a long way?
