Trump wins

Final count is not yet in, but I just don't see how Clinton wins this.  It will boil down to Wisconsin and Michigan - if Trump wins either of these then he is over 270 Electoral votes.  He's ahead in both as 0f 11:00 PM EST.

And it looks like Trump is within striking distance in Pennsylvania.  At this time, full panic should be sweeping the Clinton camp.

Final score for Trump: 274 (Wisconsin), Trump 280 (Michigan), or Trump 290 (both Michigan and Wisconsin).  If Trump draws to an inside straight and wins Pennsylvania too he gets 310.

And the Republicans keep control of Congress.

UPDATE 8 November 2016 21:30: Wisconsin just called for Trump.  It's over.

I backed Bush in 2004. Ever since then, the one thing I dread as much as losing these things is winning.

He's going to let us down. I just hope he's not as bad as that loathsome woman would be. He's just undisciplined; she f*****g *hates* us.

At the very least, I think this means .22 Long Rifle will be back on the shelves again...

If nothing else Trump knows how to delegate and manage for the desired outcome.

But he may run into some resistance when he tries to introduce this odd concept of " on time and under budget. ".

......... and are there are now a bunch of very unhappy donors to the Clinton Glowbull Intiative who are going to be looking for a refund --- one way or another.

I understand Iceland is looking for a new leader of the Pirate Party. She should fit right in.

I was watching Wisconsin on the live NYT tracker. At 2230 PST (0130 EST), when 97% of the vote was reported, I checked the numbers and did a little math. At that time, Trump was up by ~80,000 votes, and based on how many had been counted, the remaining 3% only amounted to ~78,000 votes. It was mathematically impossible for Hillary to take Wisconsin then, but the networks refused to call it until 99% of the vote was in, close to midnight PST (by that time, Trump was up ~78k with only ~26k left to count). Some of the networks didn't even call it then.

I figure they must have been hoping officials would find about 100k "military" votes in some back room that somehow were ALL marked for Hillary.

They'd called Pennsylvania for him earlier. It was over after Wisconsin. Hillary could sweep everything else, and it still wouldn't be enough.

It was just amusing how the MSM was apoplectic that Trump was doing well, and they refused to call states that mathematically couldn't go any other way.

And Borepatch predicted it when practically no one else did. Knowing you, knowing how smart you are, I was comforted when I read your prediction the other day.

Trump ran the table, taking every "must have" swing state AND Wisconsin. As soon as I saw that, I knew it was game, set, match. The friend I was watching with and I jumped up and shouted out "Trump wins!"

It was a great night for America.

Favorite comment elsewhere was, "The Clinton Foundation has just announced a strict no-refunds policy." :-D
