Remember the days when we could use multiple protocols in a single messaging app, or had good rss feed aggregators so we could be platform independent? Socalled media (see what I did there?) should go back to open apis and let us do it again. We could build as big an echo chamber as we wanted and only get replies from know people we wanted to. Of course that means we would have to pay for it as advertising would basically go away as would big data. The more I blather, the more I like it ;)
