The richness of the Home Real Estate ecosystem is a never-ending source of astonishment. The sheer number of parasitic organisms who attach their businesses to this host body is quite something to behold.

Bluesun, we're selling the house. We have a buyer, and are in the pre-closing dance. :-p
You have my utmost sympathy. I shudder when I remember the foofara we went through buying our house... then I saw the stack of checks the bank had cut out of the seller's portion. Terrifying.
Everyone has to have a finger in the pot, somehow - all to protect us from ourselves. *eyeroll*
Ah yes, it is called a "money grab" as there are sums of money just waiting to be siphoned off.
Maybe you should walk into the next meeting with the collection of leeches with one of those old timey giant cartoon looking pump insecticide sprayers with "DDT" stenciled on the side :) Give 'em a good fogging down.
