Yes, the attacks are nasty, and it's even nastier because this is a cross-platform problem: Windows, Mac, and Unix/Linux are all effected. To make it easier, here are the direct links to the download, courtesy of Adobe and Al Gore's Intarwebz thingie:
Adobe Reader users on Windows can also find the appropriate update here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/.
Adobe Reader users on Macintosh can also find the appropriate update here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/.
Adobe Reader users on UNIX can find the appropriate update here:*
ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/unix/9.x/9.4.0.
*Note: Adobe Reader 9.4 for UNIX will be available from the Adobe Reader Download Center at

** Unless you have an iPhone or an iPad (err, or an iPod Touch, I guess). His Steveness doesn't think you need Flash, and so you're not vulnerable to this.

DirtCrashr, this exploit is nasty. I wouldn't go without the patch, even with the nagware.
Or if you're like me and would rather dump burning gasoline onto your computer rather than install Adobe Acrobat/Reader, you can find the links to the Flash only update(without their POS download manager) HERE.
Really enjoy your blog, and thanks much for the heads up.
