But all of them are 100% constitutional

No doubt.

Looks like the Red States are the worst abusers of Red Flag laws.

Why hasn't even one of these confiscations been questioned to the Supreme Court? They are piling up by the thousands now, and no one has decided to make a challenge to any of them? The longer the delay, the more people will begin to think that this is okay.

I wonder if Florida is so high because it's a swing state. There are genuine Commie Socialist Loons and genuine Doomsday Prepper Libertarians that exist side by side down here. I doubt that the loons in California *know* anyone with a gun, let alone someone they could report under a red flag law.

Lissa, the dems have taken over the Broward County area and other sections of Miami. They've taken over Tallahassee, and goodly portions of the Orlando-Kissimmee area, and Alachua County (thanks, UF, you bunch of jerks...) So they have a large, powerful democrat party.

Doesn't help that we have too many RINOs here. We could have been a Constitutional State, or at least an Open Carry-Who Cares state, but the RINOs in combination with the Dems are turning this state into a hellhole. Bastiges.

Regardless of red or blue, when you're comparing states a per capita number is always appropriate IMSO (statistical opinion).

But that's a quibble. The tide of the red flag laws and the damages they're doing needs to be stemmed somehow. The stories don't get out widely, but I'm sure there has to be more than the one case of mistaken identity here that made the news in Florida.

In order to challenge the laws, you need a good defendant or plaintiff depending on the circumstances. MacDonald and Heller were good plaintiffs. Napoleon XIV wouldn't be. Hopefully, someone is scouring the data base of those who have been red-flagged looking for such. Courts deal with individual cases (usually) so the individuals matter. The legislative and executive branches are supposed to behave in a constitutional manner but it this case and many others have failed to do that.

It won't stop without wholesale bloodshed. And that won't happen until the rank and file normies realize that answering the door for a cop is a REALLY bad idea. Until they get cured of that "back the blue" and "blue lives matter" mindset, gun owners will continue to get rolled. As long as gun owners "play by the rules" they'll lose. When we start playing by the same rules as the left (win at any cost) then we can get some victories.
