I respect Hawkings work and contributions... but on a strictly personal level - I'd happily have pushed that fuggin gimp down a flight of stairs and laughed as he hit every single one on the way down. He was something of a revolting personality himself.
Mind you, coming down with a disease like that and to be trapped in a wheelchair with a razor for a mind... I can see that making a man miserable and wretched. One has to make allowances I suppose.
