The best laid plans of mice and men

Oft gang aglee.  I was supposed to be test riding one of these today:

That's not happening, with Wolfgang in the Cone of Shame and not eating yet.  I'll be watching him like a hawk today.  Damnitall.

UPDATE 1 March 2014 11:06: The patient has a considerably reduced energy level.

The poor boy looks miserable. Take good care of him.

Poor guy! That kind of shock takes a lot out of anyone. And the Cone doesn't help either.

Cone, nothing! You could pick up Wi-Fi signals from across town with that thing!

He looks a little out of it.

As an FYI, The Street Glide is not being produced this year but will be back in 2015. Used S-glides are in high demand and the prices are up. They will plummet next year when the new S-glide comes out. The 2007-2013 models of the Electra Glides are great deals right now since the new batwing was introduced this year. The pre 2007 big twins have cam shoes that need to be replaced every 25-30K miles unless they have upgraded to 07 parts or have a cam gear drive.

I'm sorry to hear about Wolfgang BP. We hope he heals up well and quickly. Angus says Woof. Which I take to mean that the water is fine and the squirrels still a bit lethargic.

Trust me on this one, blogson.

You will not be disappointed with a Harleybago...

Jay, it's a big damn bike. But *want* ....

Stop "wanting" and start "buying" via the best deal you can create.

I'd suggest something other than a Harley, but that's me; there are many, many worse choices (Moto Guzzi, anyone?....not because it's a bad bike, but PARTS! and wrenching expertise).

Anyway, spring is coming, Wolfie will heal, physically soon, mentally maybe a bit longer, and The Road Beckons. It's March Tooth today, Atlanta makes the winter-spring transition about April 10, and starting on 4/11 you'll regret every minute you're chained to that 250cc abomination.

Just keep repeating "The Road, The Road...."

Remember what I said about all those miles piling up in front of the bike. If you don't start moving them to behind the bike soon you're gonna be trapped.

Wolfgang does not like the cone of shame, master.

Wow, you could send him out to plow snow with that.

Tell him that Murphy and Belle send their regards.
