Thanks for everyone who has left a comment. It wasn't me, and it didn't involve the motorcycle. It was one of the kids, and it was a near thing. Don't even want to think about that. He'll be in the hospital for some days, I expect.
Damn, I'm worn out.

You had us all worried. If things are ok at this point they should stay that way. In my ER we have a strict rule....arrive alive and you leave the same way. Arrive otherwise and we do out best...

Missed your last couple of posts, when I saw "Hospitalblogging" followed by "Update", well I was a bit worried.
While things don't seem to be "OK", it looks like things aren't "bad". Will send good thoughts your way and prayers up to Sky Six.
Good to hear it's not all Tango Uniform - even though it's still not "all's well", either. Prayers up the road to you, BP.
Holler if I can do anything more.
That's even worse, being your kid.
Try to get some rest, you are probably wrung out.
Wishing a speedy recovery.
Somehow missed the Hospitalblogging post. Wishing a speedy and complete recovery. Try to get some rest yourself.
Sorry to hear about the kid, Patch.
Hope everything turns out OK.
Well wishes for you and yours.
Thoughts and prayers for you and yours BP.
Hope the kid heals/gets well fast.
Glad to hear the recovery has begun, may it be speedy and these kind of events really rare.
Get some rest.
It has been my experience that a motorcycle has the same glide stats as a foot-locker.
Thoughts and prayers will continue. It's WORSE when it's not us...
Our best wishes for your lad, and we hope for a speedy and complete recovery.

#1 or #2?
Doesn't really matter, I guess; prayers for both, just in case.
Best...
My thoughts and prayers with you Borepatch and with your family as well.
Prayers are outbound.
Oh, my! Wishing for a speedy recovery.
No words to describe the feelings of a parent when their child is hurt. Prayers being sent.
Prayers and wishes sent your way - may the good Lord watch over you and your kin.
Hope it's not too serious! Keep us posted as you can... And take care of yourself, as well!
Thoughts and prayers on the way.
Funny how it hurts worse when you're not the one that got hurt, isn't it?
Hope everything turns out good in the end.
Young people bounce, remember. They're a lot more resilient than us old farts, and a lot more than we give them credit for.
Prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Wow. That will teach me to get behind in blog reading. Prayers that healing is quick.
Thoughts and prayers, Borepatch.
