Twistes
I'd only ever come to Dahlonega via Georgia 400, a pretty boring divided highway. Because I don't like taking the Rebel on the highway I struck out north from Roswell on Route 9.
What I found was a delightful back roads approach to the cute old mining town, an approach packed with twisties. And packed with bikes
I've done the Dragon twice in the past 4 years. Wanna do it again real soon. And not just the dragon: the nearby parkway (don't remember the name) is a fantastic ride across the top of the ridge.
Cool - I took my son's Vulcan 750 and ran up to Helen with my wife on the back. The strait pipes on it still has my ears ringing. That 1 hour up and the riding around and then the 1 hour back wore me out. I should have my Electra Glide out of the paint shop this week - I am going though withdrawals.

I love Georgia. Next to Indiana, it has my heart and that seems to be my kind of little town. Brick sidewalks....motorcycles... sweet.

There's some great riding here in NH too...

Sounds like a good little ride! :-)
