Get Internet service turned on at Mom's place. Also get coffee
The place isn't in as bad shape as I feared. It looks like a day's work to make it ship shape, and I have two days to do it. Yay!
Also, will be meeting up with frequent commenter Instinct. Win.

Glad things are looking up. Good luck with the cleaning and remember to flush all the pipes and check that the toilets etc. work as advertised...
