Photo history of the NSA

I'm surprised that there's this much stuff out there.  And I can neither confirm nor deny this:

A little before my time, but not too much.  And I'd never heard about the "Miss NSA" pageant.

Awards ceremonies at the No Such Agency must be really strange. I can't picture receiving a blank plaque for a classified number of years of service.

Retirement parties would be even worse. Ask the guest of honor what he's going to do with his free time and he'll say, "I can't tell you. I hope it'll be fun."

Dave, a couple of the people I worked with in the Army had awards that they couldn't explain, but were legit.

"Hey, what's that ARCOM for?"
"Nothing"
"No really, how'd you get it?"
"Never mind. Ask me at work."

If you want to see some really neat tech, check out the National Cryptologic Museum at Fort Meade. Had to read the little cards next to a couple of things before I could tell my wife what they were, just so I was sure to not do something stupid.

Daddy Bear, that's a great museum. I'd love to have a beer with you some day.
