Seen inside Camp Borepatch

It's cold outside, even here in Hotlanta.  Not just below freezing, but in the 20s.  A fire brings comfort - not just the warmth, but the snap, crackle, and pop.  Crash the Wondercat is content to warm my lap.  And good music adds to the feeling.

And perhaps bourbon has a warm comfort.  You might think so; I couldn't possibly comment.

Ahhhhh. Very nice -- perhaps a romantic evening by the fire is just what the doctor ordered?

Same here in NC. Getting ready to start the first fire of the season myself. Bourbon? Works for me!

Make mine mead, thanks. Bourbon keeps me awake at night.

Ayep. 4:30 in the AM here in the north GA Mountains and it is 30f I bet it will drop another few degrees before sunrise in 2.5 hours.

Global warming indeed. I think it is time to unpack the oil filled heater again. No central heat or fireplace for me.

In fact I think I am going to go put my globe back in a cozy bed for a few since it is lazy day today I can sleep till at least 8am.
