Felix Mendelssohn - Violin Concerto in E minor

My back is really putting a dent in blogging, and so I won't do the background on the composer that I usually do.  It's a shame, as Mendelssohn lived an interesting, if short, life.  This is his most famous work.

You have a knack for finding beautiful talented artists, today's post is another. Well done.

Her playing is flawless, and a nice introduction to Mendelssohn for me.
Great class.

I like the running commentary in the subtitles. Among other things, it shows how much skill is involved in composing and performing pieces like this.
