Home Free and The Oak Ridge Boys - Elvira

I complain a lot about the New Nashville sound, where you seem to hear every style but Country on the country radio.  But sometimes the kids are all right.  Home Free is an a cappella singing group that isn't particularly country.  But they nail this Oak Ridge Boys classic, with the Oak Ridge Boys.

Love the harmony -- great performance - they must have had a blast.

Their cover of Vince Gill’s “Go rest high on that mountain” is particularly moving.

Studioing with the Oak Ridge Boys?

Of COURSE they had fun!!!!

Can you imagine whatever fun they had after the lights went out and they closed the door behind them? I have a feeling they had a time they will never forget and will talk about for even longer.

I've found that 'Contemporary Christian' has more Country than Country Music anymore.
