I blame Global Warming

Record early season snow hits the Southeast:
Snow to start November in South Carolina? Basically unheard of. Until today.

The snow is not just the mountains either. An extremely unusual cold pocket of air has brought record early-season snow to low-elevation spots like Columbia, South Carolina.

...

Reports range from about 1″ in the area to as much as 4″ or so. Keep in mind, this area is around 200-300 feet elevation in South Carolina. At the start of November.

...

According to the National Weather Service office there, this is the earliest measurable snow has been recorded in Columbia.
A friend emailed me a picture of his back yard.  I like his palm trees ....

But don't worry - computer models tell us that this is impossible.

WEATHER IS NOT CLIMATE!!! EXTREMES OF HOT AND COLD ARE PART OF THE MAGICAL SWINGS OF CLIMATE CHANGE!! DENIER!!1!!!!

But global warming, er, climate change, will mean that some areas will have an INCREASE in snowfall, because warming...

...well, warming makes things colder...

...and stuff...

Oh, wait, i know, the Atlantic conveyor, driving the warm gulf stream current, has slowed, meaning that the carolinas are getting less warm, moist ocean air and more cold, moist ocean air.

This is because of ice melting and warming and...

...

...

...

Or, maybe it's simply because our climate has never been "stable" as the warming/cooling/climate change crowd seems to believe, and changes, and oddities, and our idea of what is "normal" all come with that change.

The computer models cannot be wrong!

Reality needs a self-check.

Who are you going to believe, the computer models, or your lying eyes?
