Global warming will also cause more hurricanes and tornadoes, except when it causes global stilling so that the wind turbines won't turn.

Is there anything it can't do? Maybe we should ask global warming to eradicate the coof and clear up the supply chain.

Rapid City SD is a meteorological Bermuda Triangle that bears little resemblance to our reality.

Well, the Climoreligionists did say this was the 'most active hurricane season ever' again. Yep. This year it was a really bad year to be trapped in a small boat in the middle of the Atlantic. Eslewhere? Not so much. Eh...

Global Warming is so bad that there are record numbers of polar bears, the Arctic and Antarctic ice sheets are as large and bad as some of the coldest years 'on record' and so forth and so on.

Of course, that's the issue. 'On Record.' Most people don't know the thermometer wasn't invented till the 1590's, and really scientific measurements of local weather really didn't start happening until the British Navy started seriously tracking currents and weather patterns worldwide back in the 1700's (part of that whole latitude/longitude and search for a functioning ship-board clock thingy.) But that was at sea, scientific tracking of whole nation weather patterns didn't really come about until the 1800's and really it took WWII to bring it about full-scale in Europe and in the United States, with other nations only falling into it in the 1960's and 70's.

So, exactly what 'records' are they referring to? And show me those records (if they haven't been destroyed or altered) to prove it.

Like, well, here in Gainesville, FL. Where the eneMedia is assuring me that this last summer was the hottest ever. No. No it wasn't. The year of the Florida Firestorms, 1998, was hotter. 1985 was hotter than 1998, with two weeks of August farting around the 100-105 degree mark, dropping down into the low 90's at night. So how did a summer where we got to 97 once and lows of low 80's a couple times be the hottest summer ever?

Lying bastards all. Weatherguessers and worshipers of ClimateChangebyManbad.

Ken, today Global Warming made me a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. Mmmmm!

Tacitus, this storm was all over out west, including Denver and points south from there. It was a pretty geographically broad snowstorm.

Beans, you are entirely correct. The comparison of last summer ("Look how hot it is! Global Warming!!!") and yesterday ("Dude, it was just a snowstorm") tells you everything you need to know about how much Climate Science any of these doofuses understand.

If they can't accurately (like with 75% accuracy) tomorrow's weather, how in the heck are they able to predict next year or 10 years from now?

And that's all you need to know. The Farmer's Almanac has kept better records than NOAA.
