Google went all out for their Flag Day doodle today

Recent Google Doodles include Philipenes Independence Day and Portugal Day, as well as several for Women's World Cup and EU elections.

Use Duckduckgo.

You have to remember that Google detests anything smacking of patriotism or personal freedom.

Bing, through Microsoft, has a beautiful picture of Old Glory flying over one of our national parks.

Ditched google back in 2008 during the Anointed One's ascent. Found Bing to be much less biased.

Not surprised. They 'hate' the country that has given them ALL the advantages and power they have...

Using DDG is fine but it won't solve the problem. Only the destruction of Google will fix the problem with Google. And the market isn't going to do it. Google is too big, too powerful and too rich to be tamed in any way other than a full court press from the government. Anti-trust, Section 320, data sovereignty, H1B, civil rights lawsuits and everything else that anybody can think of.

If Google was just trying to get filthy rich, I would say more power to them but they are trying to destroy the republic.

I was looking forward to seeing a colorful display commemorating our flag on flag day. However, google disappointed me by displaying nothing...nothing. I guess I have to rethink which search engine to use...what a disappointment. Seems to me you're getting too big for your britches (old cliche, but true)

Marie, I recommend Duckduckgo. They don't track you, or play games with search results for political purposes.
