Shana Tovah

To our Jewish readers, צוֹם קַל.

And since we're at the end of Baseball regular season, this is a good time to remember Hank Greenberg.  The Tigers were in a pennant race in 1934, but Greenberg still wouldn't play on Yom Kippur.  You have to respect a man of faith.

Don't forget Sandy Koufax .... also would not pitch on Yom Kippur in 1965.
Thx for the holiday wish.

Thank you kindly, and may you also be inscribed on the Book of Life for a sweet year ahead.

This post makes you remember just exactly what is the most important things in life. Although I am not Jewish, I have a love for the Jewish people. I would fight with them just like I would fight with America. If only the ones that it seems that I would most likely have to fight were not Americans. May one day both nations be as brothers.
