Quote of the Day: In which I agree with a Democratic Candidate edition

Tulsi Gabbard has a bunch of policy proposals that I don't agree with, but I am 100% with her on this:
I'm running for president to undo Mrs. Clinton's failed legacy. From Iraq to Libya to Syria, her record is replete with foreign-policy catastrophes. It's a primary reason why I resigned as vice chairman of the Democratic National Committee in 2016 to endorse Bernie Sanders. Mrs. Clinton and the powerful media and political network she built up over decades have never forgiven this slight.... Those who are indebted to the war machine and the overreaching intelligence agencies, as well as their cheerleaders in the media, are determined to take me down because they know they can't control me. I'm directly challenging their power.... Democratic candidates adhere to [Hillary Clinton's] doctrine of acting as the world's police, using the tools of war to overthrow governments we don't like, wasting taxpayer dollars, costing American lives, causing suffering and destruction abroad, and undermining America's security.... Only when we recognize the failings of the past -- embodied by Mrs. Clinton and her minions in the media -- can we move forward to a future of peace, dignity, transparency and aloha.
Yup.

Reading that seems like she is wanting to imitate President Trump even though poorly.

The chief difference is she can only talk about it. She is trying to craft power out of nothing. She appears to be moving to the right - do not be fooled - but only to distinguish herself from the cadre of commies who have moved ever further left.

Perhaps she has identified a niche and is wanting to exploit that. The 'reasonable Democrat' is dissatisfied with the choices therefore this one comes along to offer a more palatable choice. The House of Clowns offers something for everyone; that is, except for the truly reasoned.

What if this one continues along this line to say she is 'for' original intent? Who among you would be duped?

Most of the 'media' are her minions, were Obama's and her husband's minions and remain slaves to the idea of the progressive social justice state which will control, dominate and destroy in the name of order. It's like watching Il Duce and Hitler coming to power back in the 30s. Half the people are so stupid they are voting for exactly the same polices desired by those two and they don't even know it.

Tulsi's an oddball in many ways. When she had her annual reserve duty, she suspended her campaign and went to do here duty. That's respectable. OTOH, she's probably 95% in line with the others in the clown car (or was at one time). If she's reasonable 5% of the time, as the redneck version of statistical significance says, it's probably a random event.

Something about blind pigs and acorns comes to mind, but she's definitely found one there.

The Queen Of The World might divorce me for agreeing with a Democrat, LOL

A broken clock is right twice a day, or three times or once (depending on time of brokenness and time changes and all...)

She is right on this one issue. But so wrong on so many other issues. I'll stick with OrangeManBad, thanks, as he's the first candidate EVER whose beliefs align mostly with mine.

I mean, after all, she endorsed Sanders last time, and when she drops, may do so again.
Her espousal of certain positions that I agree with makes me question those positions.

I saw her last time as one of the more reasonable Democrats, if there is such a thing. That doesn't mean that I trust her. I also appreciate her military service. I don't appreciate her socialism and her willingness to follow the leadership of her party on things like gun control, health care, and the like.
I believe that the next presidential election is going to be a mess, and afterwards, there will be hell to pay, no matter who wins. The losing side will not accept it, and will either riot, or attempt to secede from the union again, depending on which side they are on. The left obviously is still being a bunch of idiots over the last election, now some 3 years past, and I suspect that the American people see through it, and are going to pay the Democrats back, come election day, both with the presidential election, and in the congress in both houses. The media is of course, going to act surprised again.

I'd like to see a one-on-one debate between Tulsi Gabbard and Andrew Yang. They're the most interesting of the Democrat candidates to my mind.
