All the young folk are listening to it
Because it's awesome.
9.4 Million views on Youtube. If the kids keep listening to this sort of thing, I may not just be teaching #1 Son how to drive a stick, but do some cha cha moves as well.
Are you sure you don't get a commission on book and music sales? If you don't, you should. You and Tam are keeping my orders flowing to Amazon. I got this disk in last Friday, and it's great!
And yes teach the boys how to dance -- a wonderful social skill. Most men don't dance simply because they have never learned. Learn how and you will have a ball! (Intentional pun.)
North clued me in to Caro Emerald last night via your post. Since then. I downloaded the album, and have thoroughly enjoyed it! Yes that was me driving around the Capital Beltway singing this song and doing the Bossanova in my car seat.

Yeah I think I'm sold.
Excellent.
Very nice, and the boat with the drink just cracked me up! :-)

I am *all* for anything that gets brass back into music.
This was wonderful. Thank you.
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who digs this. :-)
One of those chicks is the same girl Pacino did the tango with in "Scent Of A Woman."
Thnaks for this. I got the album on Itunes last weeks.
Great stuff...

Thank you!
The only thing astonishing about Miss Emerald (actually Miss Van der Leeuw) is that ALL the record labels passed on signing her.
And so she started her own. Which sold a million copies.
No wonder the record labels are going out of business.
