Pucker Factor

Dialed up to eleven:Nice view. But what's that sound?

The lighthouse at La Jument (at the westernmost point in the English Channel) is 150 feet tall.
The lighthouse keeper was stranded, and waiting for a helicopter to take him off. He went out to see if it was there at just the wrong moment. He ducked back into the lighthouse, and survived.

Amazing that it's still standing.

As terrifying as it would be, you know it had to have been kind of awesome to be there.

If I were that guy, I'd carry a copy of that picture with me everywhere and show it to everyone pointing myself out in the photograph....

In fact, I'm not that guy and I'm half tempted to do it anyway :)
