The young man in the bottom picture appears to be the same age I was when I visited USS Alabama (BB-60) in Mobile back in 1970. The experience gave me an unquenchable thirst to join the Navy, which I did 10 years later. I never regretted it.
... and on the plus side, you won't have to worry about pirates.

Have you taken #1 & #2 down to Fall River to see the USS Massachusetts? Bet they'd enjoy that. And while you're at it, drop on down to Mystic, CT and see the Nautilus.
Brad, we have been down to Fall River. The Massachusetts and the North Carolina are either sister ships or are very close.
I haven't had them to Mystic, although it's on the list. I didn't know that the Nautilus was there.
