Munich, December 1996

Taken with my trusty Pentax K-1000.  That camera was like an old friend.  The kids were little (#2 Son was a couple weeks shy of his first birthday).  Munich at Christmas is a magical place, especially if you're lucky enough to have small children.

That was a store window.  #1 Son didn't want to leave.  Can't blame him, actually.

Thanks for the memory. I loved Munich and Augsburg at Christmastime.

That camera was IMHO the best bargain of film cameras. Superb quality lenses, excellent ergonomics and a very reasonable price.

Thanks for that memory.

Grab a screw-mount adapter for a K-1000 and you have access to a treasure trove of excellent lenses on Ebay for pennies on the dollar.

Pretty sure the K-mount will work on Pentax's DSLRs as well. Except for metering.
