Seen at #2 Son's High School
Waiting to get him after the SATs this weekend, I saw this:
Looks like a young 'un. Roswell has almost 100,000 residents, and it's filled with wildlife. Later that day on a walk with Wolfgang, he flushed a deer. Country in the city.
We get to see a good deal of wildlife in Rochester (pop. 250,000). There are deer everywhere, and a suburb on the south side has the occasional black bear sighting.
There used to be a peregrine falcon nest box on the Kodak HQ tower, but they had to take it down a few years ago because they were doing renovations and they didn't want the contractors being attacked by irate raptors.
