Top posts of 2020

The new Blogger interface is something that took a while to get used to, but does have some nice additions.  It used to be difficult to get a list of the top posts in a year, but now it's easy as pie.  It also tells me that there were a little over a million page views here in 2020, and all y'all left 3,830 comments (!).

The top posts of the year (by page views) were:

The data I'm not seeing reported on the Chinese Flu (April 5)

Cognitive Dissonance (March 1)

The Outlaws - Ghost Riders In The Sky (a post from March 27, 2010 - google's my bitch)

You are 43 times more likely to be killed by Corona virus if you have a gun in the house (March 8 - this was one of my favorite posts of last year)

Normal? Not Yet, Not Until The N95 Index Goes Green Again (April 20)

The shutdown is not about protecting people's health (April 23)
Many thanks to the top referrers to this blog:

Google (did I mention that Google is my bitch?)

Bing

Facebook
The coolest blog related thing that happened last year was the Southwest Florida blogshoot.  It was a ton of fun and was great to meet people in meatspace.  Remember, we have one coming up on February 20.

But most of all, thank you Gentle Reader.  It's you stopping around here regularly that keeps doing this thing fun.
